Laminated timber is a structural element made at Holtza Group’s production facilities. It is formed by gluing timber sheets parallel to the grain direction.
They can form a curved or straight geometry and allow large clearances and many possibilities tailored to any project. They are commonly used in structures with a large clearance, but they bring many advantages to all kinds of structures, such as excellent stability and the possibility of achieving geometry designs without aesthetic restrictions.
An optimised and standardised raw material, combined with technical drying, means that laminated timber is considerably more stable than solid wood, producing 10% +/- 2 internal moisture (this equals an equilibrium moisture content of 20ºC and 65% of relative humidity of air). Holtza Group’s facilities are tempered to guarantee these conditions.
