    Materials

    • TIMBER: Timber in accordance with standard UNE-EN-386 “Glued laminated timber. Manufacturing specifications and requirements”.
    • ADHESIVES: In accordance with standard UNE-EN-301 “Phenolic and aminoplastic adhesives for use in structures”.
    • IRON FITTINGS: Hot dip galvanised iron fittings.

    Manufacturing

    Manufacturing in accordance with Standard UNE-EN-386.
    Manufacturer subjected to AITIM external control.
    AITIM - 15 Quality Seal.

    Calculation, design and installation.

    In accordance with Standard DIN-1052. - ENV 1995.
    Calculation, design and installation, subject to AITIM external control.
    AITIM - 22 Quality Seal.

    Wood preventive protection treatment.

    The necessary fungicide-insecticide treatments in accordance with the structure’s type of use will be applied, in accordance with standard UNE-EN 335-1.

    Control tests.

    Internal and external control tests on the manufacturer in accordance with the following standards:

    • UNE-EN-385 “Structural wood with groove joints. Manufacturing requirements”.
    • UNE-EN-392 “Glued laminated timber. Glue line shear test”.
    • UNE-EN-408 “Groove joint bending test”.
